Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI)

Repetitive strain injury is an injury that is related to repeated movement of a particular part of the body that affects nerves, tendons and muscles.

– Most commonly seen is the wrist or hand (carpal tunnel)

Other examples of Repetitive strain injuries are:
Bursitis,Cubital tunnel syndrome, Diffuse RSI, Dequervains syndrome, Dupuytrens contracture, Dystonia (writer’s cramp) Epicondylitis, Game keepers thumb, Tenosynovitis to name a few.

Signs and Symptoms
– Aching
– Tiredness
– Redness and swelling

This can affect wrists, arms, shoulders, neck or legs during and after work.
